During the academic year, the student health fee covers visits to the Health Center at no cost. Services provided by outside vendors, such as laboratory testing, prescriptions, and hospital or specialty visits, are billed by that service provider to your health insurance. Students are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the coverage provided by their individual insurance policy, including any restrictions or limitations.

Simmons students are eligible for free nutrition counseling and support by a Registered Dietitian. Appointments can be made over the phone or in person at the Health Center on the residence campus.

Hours and details

Simmons Health Services, located on the Simmons Residence Campus, offers healthcare to Simmons Undergraduate and Graduate students. The Health Center is staffed by Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners (and Simmons FNP Students) and a Family Physician; Additional part-time providers include a Registered Dietitian and Psychiatric consultant. Services are available by appointment at the Health Center during regularly-scheduled clinic hours.
