Welcome Baby Program

A free, voluntary home visiting program for all mothers who live within a 5-mile radius of California Hospital Medical Center and give birth at the facility. Benefits include a free postpartum hospital visit and breastfeeding assistance, a home visit from a registered nurse a few days after hospital discharge, and periodic appointments with a parent coach until the baby is 9 months old.

Emotional well-being support group

Explore your inner-self and develop positive life-coping strategies with the support of your peers. The group meets the first Wednesday of each month from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM and is offered in Spanish only. Call for details.

Maternity tours

Maternity tours include the birthing areas and last about an hour. Tours are held in Spanish on Wednesdays and in English on Thursdays. Call to schedule.
