Safe Space and Take Kare Ambassador Program

A harm reduction and outreach service for vulnerable people in Sydney's late night entertainment precincts. A static Safe Space in Sydney Square, adjacent to Town Hall, provided a place to rest, sober up, charge mobile phones and reconnect with friends, while Take Kare Ambassadors offered practical support including directions, transport assistance, basic first aid, bottled water, vomit bags and help contacting family or emergency services.
