Private Fees from 1st July 2026

Chatswood Medical Practice is a private billing practice and charges a gap fee for all consultations. The listed fees and Medicare rebates are a guide only. The doctor determines the Medicare item number based on the length and complexity of the consultation. Some doctors offer a discounted rate for pensioners, children and students. Appointments on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are considered premium services and attract a $20 to $40 higher fee than weekday appointments. A non-attendance fee of $40 applies if a patient does not attend a standard appointment or cancels with less than two hours notice.
