Dressing up in a ballet-inspired outfit and dancing in your seat are warmly encouraged. Infants under two are permitted free of charge if they do not occupy a seat.

Opera Australia: The Trumpet of the Swan

Meet Louis, a young swan born without a voice. With the help of a boy named Sam and a stolen trumpet, Louis sets out to prove that even the quietest among us can make the loudest impact. This novel symphony for actors and orchestra brings E.B. White's classic novel to the stage with lively narration performed by actors alongside a cinematic, lyrical score played live by Orchestra Victoria. It is an opportunity to introduce young people to orchestral music and storytelling, while also appealing to experienced music lovers. The performance runs for 80 minutes with no interval.
