Medicare Rebate

With a valid GP referral and Mental Health Care Plan, you can receive a rebate of $93.35 per session for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Eligibility must be confirmed with a GP. Private health fund rebates may also be available if covered. Private sessions do not require a GP referral but do not receive a Medicare rebate. Medicare rebates do not apply to couples therapy and family therapy.

Psychology supervision provided by a Psychology Board Approved Supervisor. Services include one-on-one sessions and peer consultation in a nurturing and professional environment, supporting psychologists to enhance their skills, gain new insights, address practice challenges, deepen therapeutic techniques, navigate complex cases or fulfil licensure requirements. The fee is $180 per hour.

Family counselling and therapy to help strengthen relationships between family members by improving communication, understanding and support. Family members can learn to work together to resolve conflicts and develop healthy, supportive relationships. One-hour sessions are approximately $180.

Couples counselling and psychology services to help strengthen relationships and encourage healthier communication. Support is provided to help couples work through challenges and build stronger, more meaningful relationships. One-hour sessions are approximately $180.

Individual therapy for a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, PTSD and more. Sessions are tailored to each individual to help them understand their feelings and develop strategies to cope with their emotions. One-hour sessions are approximately $180.
