OZAKAYA Our restaurant name is inspired by two Japanese words: OSAKA & IZAKAYA The chef Takahiro Sano (who was born and raised in Osaka) is driven by strong curiosity and great passion, pursued his dream by start working as a front of house staff (waiter, Bartender and Captain) in New York. Later Sano got an opportunity to work at Yoppari (Clinton St, New York) a fine-dining Japanese restaurant where he met Chef Junya his first mentor who taught Sano everything about meticulous Japanese cooking techniques. With the chef's passion and love of cooking OZAKAYA is going to be a fresh dining experience waiting to be discovered and provided you "The finest flavor you can get"
