Learn to dress yourself in kimono using an authentic traditional method. The course covers summer kimono and Hoso obi, kimono accessories, casual and formal kimono dressing, obi tying, kimono fashion, hair, makeup, manners, and rental kimono and accessories. The beginners course includes 12 classes and 24 hours of training. Makeup classes are available if a class is missed, and a certificate of completion from Yamano kimono dressing school is available optionally.

Learn about kimono undergarments and accessories, including how to dress yourself authentically and apply accessories correctly for different types of kimono and occasions. The course is part of a 12-class kimono dressing program. Single drop-in admission is $65 for 2 hours, or a full semester is $570 for 12 classes and 24 hours of training. Rental kimonos, obi and some accessories are available.
