Monarch Bear Grove is a sacred space in Golden Gate Park featuring an ancient oak grove, ritual stone circles and altars, and connections to the Abbey of Santa Maria de Ovila and the National AIDS Memorial Grove. It is cared for as a living environment for trees, animals, spirits, and the Monarch Bear, California’s totem animal.
