At the end of each semester, an exhibition presents the participants' work. Film screenings, work stations, performances and a small buffet are part of the showcase.

The Comic-Scribble Club

An English-language workshop for pupils in 5th and 6th form at Primarschule Basel. Participants observe animals at Zoo Basel, record their observations as a field study with drawings and notes, and then develop collages and comic drawings in the K'Werk studio. The project leader speaks very simple English. The workshop lasts 6 lessons and is offered in time modules by arrangement with the teacher, either 2 sessions of 3 lessons or 3 sessions of 2 lessons across two or three mornings. Minimum group size is one class with at least one accompanying teacher. Materials are included.

Soundmaps, Wie klingt Basel?

Workshop for children and young people aged 10 to 16. Participants explore Basel neighbourhoods with cameras, audio recorders, paper and pencils, then create a city map collage with images and objects and produce a matching soundtrack.

Workshop for children aged 9 to 13. Participants design and sew a soft toy, learn to build a small synthesizer with a speaker, and create a soft toy that responds to touch with sounds.

Workshop for children and young people aged 12 to 14. Participants experiment with YouTube, filters, music, video, beats, the internet and pixels, build new instruments from dismantled keyboards and old radios, and manipulate images on a computer.

Workshop for children and young people aged 12 to 16. Participants build and play their own sound objects and compose a soundtrack for an animation film. The soundtrack is performed live with the film at Gare du Nord for a small audience.

Develop and design a digital game using a professional game engine. Participants create worlds, characters and sounds alone or in teams and receive a playable game link after the course.

Observe, draw, sketch and experiment indoors and outdoors with different drawing tools and techniques. Participants develop their own drawing ideas and create a personal sketchbook.

Produce a self-made zine with illustrations and comics using drawing, lettering, painting, collage, copying and different formats.

Explore construction and architecture by planning and building structures from materials including wood, cardboard, wire and recycled materials. Projects can range from models to structures large enough to enter.
