The standard insurance excess of $5500 may be reduced by paying an Insurance Excess Reduction fee of $42 per day. For drivers aged 21 to 25, this reduces the excess to $1500. For drivers aged 25 to 75, it reduces the excess to $1100. For drivers aged 75 to 85, it reduces the excess to $1750. The fee includes puncture and windscreen cover for the hire period.

Truck Toll Pass

A day pass is available at the time of hire for $16.00, providing unlimited usage of toll roads throughout your hire. If the toll pass option is declined at the start of the rental but toll roads or bridges are used during the rental period, the hirer will be charged each toll fee plus an administrative fee of $30 per toll incurred.

TRUCK Hire Rates

Hire a 2.5 tonne Isuzu NNR truck from $99.00 for a weekday day hire, Monday to Thursday, or from $159.00 per day for a weekend day hire, Friday to Sunday. All truck hires include insurance and taxes. Each hire includes 100 kms free per day, then charges $0.25 per km. A young driver insurance surcharge of $16 per day applies to drivers aged 21 to 25.
