Year 7 Orientation Day

An event supporting a smooth and confident transition into high school. Students and families can become familiar with GRC Hurstville Campus, meet key staff and learn about Year 7 programs and opportunities. Activities include welcome activities, a school tour, workshops and meeting peer buddy groups. Parents and carers are invited to an information session about school routines, expectations and support for student wellbeing and learning.

Primary School Masterclass Program

Georges River College Hurstville Campus partners with Hurstville Public School, Hurstville South Public School, Carlton Public School and Bexley Public School to deliver hands-on masterclasses for Year 4, 5 and 6 students. Specialist secondary teachers lead activities including creating cookies in Food Technology, making slime in Science, and designing and producing a key ring in Industrial Technology. The program provides early exposure to secondary learning environments and specialist facilities while developing problem-solving skills, creativity and confidence.
