Canadian Prehospital Transfusion Summit

A closed meeting facilitated by Dr. Brodie Nolan and Dr. Michael Peddle, bringing together experts from across Canada to explore innovations in bleed management, barriers to standardized care and the future of prehospital transfusion. Topics include prehospital bleed management, product utilization, freeze-dried plasma, whole blood and research priorities.

Toronto Resuscitation Conference

An inaugural resuscitation conference hosted by FIRST60 in partnership with Ornge and the Unity Health Toronto Critical Care Research Pillar. The event brings together interprofessional clinicians, scientists, learners and resuscitation enthusiasts for talks, ePosters and discussions on prehospital cardiac arrest, trauma resuscitation, cardiac arrest and in-hospital trauma care. The keynote speaker is Dr. Homer Tien.

FIRST60 is a resuscitation research, education and collaboration initiative that brings together clinicians, scientists, learners and community partners. Through studies, skills training, simulation and events such as the Toronto Resuscitation Conference, it focuses on improving care when every minute counts.
