Resourced and Resilient Group, Trauma Therapy Program

A group workshop for adult SAFHT patients who have experienced childhood trauma or adverse childhood experiences. The workshop focuses on the impacts and symptoms of trauma and developing coping strategies to manage trauma symptoms. Participants are screened and assessed for readiness. Held at Sunnybrook Bayview Campus, A-Wing, 1st Floor, Room 21.

Post Pregnancy Heart Health Workshop

An online workshop about what pregnancy history can mean for heart health and what can be done to support a healthy heart after pregnancy. Delivered by a nurse educator, dietitian, social worker and family physician, with educational materials and time for questions and answers. Designed for people who are currently pregnant or up to 18 months postpartum. Open to people with a history of high blood pressure during pregnancy.

Interactive sessions offering an opportunity to meet members of the healthcare team involved in surgical care, as well as a volunteer who has experienced heart surgery at Sunnybrook.
