For ages 0 to 15, one child rides free per full-fare adult ticket, excluding discounted adult tickets. Additional children are 50% of a full-fare adult ticket, limited to two per full-fare adult, and further children pay the full adult fare. Children ages 12 to 15 traveling alone under the Unaccompanied Children policy pay the adult fare. Large school groups have separate pricing and policies. On the Portland, Maine to New York City route, one child up to age 15 travels for half the adult fare per full-paying adult ticket, for one-way or round-trip travel, and additional children pay the full published adult rate. Children under 16 cannot travel alone on that route.

Airline Employee Discount

Airline employees working at Logan Airport can purchase discounted tickets in person in Concord, Portland, or Boston South Station with valid employee identification. The Airline Employee Commuter Pass is valid for 45 days. Concord, New Hampshire fares are $35 for a round trip or $150 for a 10-ride commuter pass. Portland, Maine fares are $49 for a round trip or $200 for a 10-ride commuter pass.

10-Ride Commuter Pass

A Commuter Pass contains ten one-way tickets for one traveler and must be purchased in person in Concord, New Hampshire, or Portland, Maine. The passenger's name is imprinted on the ticket at purchase, and the pass cannot be purchased for a group or multiple commuters. A Concord to Boston pass costs $120 and is valid for 30 days from purchase. A Portland to Boston pass costs $160 and is valid for 30 days from purchase.

Same-Day Round-Trip

Same-day round-trip fares are $34 between Concord and Boston South Station, $47 between Portland and Boston South Station, $73 between Augusta and Boston South Station, and $84 between Bangor and Boston South Station. Tickets must be purchased in person at the terminal on the day of travel. No reservations are accepted. There are no blackout dates, including holidays. A photo ID is required at purchase, and passengers should arrive 30 minutes before departure.

College students can receive $5.00 off regular round-trip tickets when traveling to and from Bangor, Augusta, or Portland, Maine, to Boston South Station or Logan Airport. A valid college student ID must be presented at purchase. The discount does not apply to same-day round-trip tickets or the Maine Coastal Route, is valid for 90 days, and cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions.
