Comprehensive Outreach Education Certificate Program

This is a two-part, 80-hour training program. You must be an active Community Health Worker, participation must be sponsored by an organization, the $650 per student program cost must be paid by your organization, and you must commit to at least 20 hours of volunteer work per week with your organization. Registration for the Fall 2026 program is open. The cycle begins on September 8, 2026 and ends October 14, 2026. The deadline to apply is August 24, 2026.

A monthly gathering where Community Health Workers can share outreach strategies, network with other Community Health Workers, and learn about client services and resources.

Health Modules Sessions

Three-to-five hour sessions focusing on health facts and local referral resources so that community health workers can provide health information and referrals on a broad range of health topics to their communities. The fee is $25 for a half day or $50 for a full day.

Comprehensive Outreach Education Certificate Program

The program covers community outreach, health education, navigating health and human service systems, access to services, advocacy, community capacity building, and public health topics. Participants must attend all core sessions and complete at least 18 hours of health modules. Space is limited, registration is not partial, and the full $650 fee must be paid by the participant's agency before the first class. All training dates must be attended to complete the program.
