Nonprofit and Government Rental Discount

Non-profit organizations, City of Austin Departments, Government Agencies and Educational Institutions are entitled to a 50% discount on room rental fees only. Documentation is required to verify status.

Outdoor Amphitheater Rental

The Outdoor Amphitheater is available for small, stand-alone events or as an add-on to the Special Event Center. Up to 2 hours costs $300. Each additional hour costs $150.

Demonstration Area Rental

The Demonstration Area is located in the Central Library's main atrium and designed for public presentations. Up to 2 hours costs $400. Each additional hour costs $200.

Art Gallery Rental

Rental availability and capacity are contingent upon exhibit layout with Exhibit Coordinator approval. Up to 4 hours costs $1,200. Each additional hour costs $300.

Special Event Center Rental

The rental includes the pre-function lobby, green room, coat check and patio. Up to 4 hours costs $2,600. Each additional hour costs $650.

Roof Garden & Indoor Living Room Rental

Rentals are available from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM, Friday through Sunday only. Up to 6 hours costs $3,000. Each additional hour costs $500.

Event

Roof Garden and Indoor Living Room Rentals

The Roof Garden includes a garden area and deck with views of downtown and Lady Bird Lake. Indoor seating is included as weather backup. Rentals are available for a 6-hour block from 6:00 PM to 12:00 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Events must end by 11:00 PM.
