FreshSteps Low-Cost Therapy

For those in financial need, low-cost counselling and psychotherapy for children and young people is available through the charity FreshSteps. Sessions are with a trainee on the CCPE master's child psychotherapy training and fees are from £35 to £50. Therapy takes place in person at CCPE and trainees are fully supervised.

Children and Young People Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is available for children and young people aged 4 to 18, and for parents or carers needing support. The initial assessment costs £60. Subsequent individual psychotherapy sessions start from £55 upwards, depending on the psychotherapist's experience. The initial assessment and therapy take place in person at CCPE.

Low-Cost Adult Clinic

Adults aged 18 and over can be assessed to potentially see a student counsellor or psychotherapist. The low-cost assessment is £30 and weekly sessions are charged on a sliding scale from £35 upwards. Therapy sessions are held once a week for 50 minutes.

Adult Psychotherapy Clinic

Assessments for psychotherapy are available to adults aged 18 and over at a cost of £60. Weekly sessions can be expected to cost £70 and upwards, with affordability discussed with the assessor. Therapy sessions are held once a week for 50 minutes.
