Home Care Advisory Visit under Section 37.3 SGB XI

A qualified care adviser visits people receiving care allowance at home for a mandatory advisory visit. The consultation supports care recipients and family carers, covers topics such as relief payments, respite and short-term care, care level reassessment, aids and home adaptations, and ends with a report sent directly to the care insurance fund. The visit is free, with costs fully covered by the care insurance fund. It is mandatory twice yearly for care levels 2 and 3, quarterly for care levels 4 and 5, and voluntary with possible half-yearly attendance for care level 1. Advice is available for people of all ages, including children and younger adults.
