1,000 Books Before School

A free Canterbury-Bankstown Libraries program for children aged 0 to 6. Register at your local library and collect a reading log, then read books in any language with your child and record them in the app or reading log. Children receive a library bag and badge after 100 books, further badges for every 100 books read, and a certificate and prize pack when they complete the program by reading 1,000 books or starting school, whichever comes first.

Players meet each fortnight at Campsie Library to collaborate through stories presented by Dungeon Masters. Dungeons and Dragons is a tabletop collaborative roleplaying game where players and storyteller work to solve mysteries, right wrongs and deal with evil in all forms. New and experienced players, and people curious about the game, are welcome. For ages 12 to 18. A limited number of spots are available and bookings are essential. Free entry.
