Boys & Girls Republic Elections

Elementary and middle school participants run for mayor, city clerk, judge, prosecuting attorney, comptroller, and council members. Candidates prepare and present speeches to BGR citizens, who vote by secret ballot. The elected City Council meets weekly during the school year, with larger meetings of the citizenry twice a month.
