Nature Exploration Kits, including tools such as field guides and binoculars, are available to borrow for use in Tommy Thompson Park on a first-come-first-served basis. Visit the Nature Centre on weekends and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., provide a contact number and show identification when borrowing the kit, and return it the same day.

Tackleshare

Fishing rods, reels, and tackle boxes are available for loan at the Nature Centre, like a library book. Call TTP staff to ensure rods are available, visit the Nature Centre on weekends and holidays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., complete a sign-out form, and return the gear the same day. Learn to Fish sessions are also offered at no cost.

Quadcycle Rentals

Single bench quadcycles accommodate 3 people plus one child in the front carrier and cost $24 per hour plus a $12 deposit. Double bench quadcycles accommodate 6 people plus one child in the front carrier and cost $38 per hour plus a $19 deposit. The deposit is refunded when the quadcycle is returned within the pre-arranged time. Minimum rental is one hour, tax included. Payment is by credit card only. At least one rider must be 18 or older. Riders under 18 must wear a helmet. Quadcycles are permitted only on the main Multi-Use Trail, as far south as the red pedestrian bridge. Rentals are currently unavailable. When available, rentals take place on weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on a first-come-first-served basis, and may be cancelled during heavy rain or thunderstorms.
