The People of Lavender Hill Audio Walk

An outdoor audio walk along Lavender Hill, beginning and ending at Battersea Arts Centre. The walking route is roughly 30 to 35 minutes, while the audio walk is around 60 minutes. It is accessible via smartphone, or visitors without a smartphone can borrow an MP3 player from the Battersea Arts Centre Welcome Desk, subject to leaving ID or a driving licence as a deposit and limited availability. The route includes seating and drop-curb crossings, with no need to enter the businesses along the route.

A Merry Misrule

An accessible performance based on an Icelandic folk story about the Yule Cat, told through speech, puppetry, poetry and song. The experience takes place through various rooms at Battersea Arts Centre and includes audience participation, music, haze, flashing lights, sound effects and loud noise. Suitable for ages 3+. The performance lasts 40 minutes without an interval.

A relaxed theatre performance featuring dancers and beatboxers. Audience members can touch props, some of which have different smells, and may move around, leave and return, make noise, and join the performers to dance. The show includes characters called Evil Butterfly, Angel Old Woman, Love Dragon and Party Panda, and takes the audience into a cocoon before returning to Bow in London.

Blood Show, audio-described performance

An audio-described performance of Blood Show, created and performed by Ocean Hester Stefan Chillingworth, with Craig Hambling and Tim Bromage. The performance takes place in the Members Bar of Battersea Arts Centre and has content warnings for simulated violence and fake blood. All performances are Relaxed, allowing audiences to make themselves comfortable, move around and leave and return to the space when needed. Plastic ponchos are available for audiences who wish to protect their clothing from potential splashes of fake blood.

Bring Your Folks Nights

Special performances of Second Trimester. Bring your guardians or elders, watch together, and join afterwards for free chaat by Vegetarian Brown Girls and chai by Maji. Friday 17 April is for South Asian people and their guardians. Wednesday 22 April is for queer people and their guardians. Booking is required through Battersea Arts Centre's website.
