BRCCH Course on Foundations of Paediatric Digital Health

A free course taught by experts from the Digital Health Unit at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute. Participants explore opportunities and challenges in implementing digital technologies for paediatric care through online self-directed materials followed by three half-day in-person sessions. Journal club sessions are also offered. The course covers digital health interventions, evaluation, artificial intelligence, real-world data, ethical considerations and regulatory requirements. The three-day course is delivered in person only, and registration is required.

Inaugural Lecture: Children Are Not Small Adults: Bringing AI to Child Health

A hybrid inaugural lecture exploring AI models designed specifically for paediatric care. The talk covers developing interpretable, trustworthy and reliable models from limited and varied clinical data, and why child health needs methods of its own. The programme includes a welcome, lecture, Q&A, closing and networking apéro. Registration is available for Zoom or in-person attendance.
