A practical three-hour baby and child first aid class for parents, grandparents, carers, babysitters and anyone caring for young children. Practising specialist paramedics and paediatric nurses cover baby and child CPR, choking, fevers, burns, allergic reactions, anaphylaxis, injuries, asthma, poisons, household safety and when to call an ambulance, go to hospital or visit a GP. Tea and coffee, a detailed class workbook, medication and allergy trackers, and basic life support fridge magnets are included. Babies under 12 months may attend, provided they are taken out if they disturb the class. Private classes are available for groups of at least 10 people.
