Expenses related to childcare for children under 6 years old, or children who were under 6 on 1 January of the relevant year, qualify for a tax credit equal to 50% of the amounts paid, subject to the conditions set by the tax authorities. The credit applies to the childcare portion of the service, including the stage price, reception and supervision, and educational activities included in the stage. Transport, shuttle services, insurance and other additional services are excluded. Bloomdayz sends a participation certificate automatically in January. The amount declared is the amount actually paid by the household after deducting any CSE, employer or other assistance. Displayed amounts are estimates of the cost after the tax credit and the actual benefit depends on the household's tax situation and the rules in force.
