Statutorily insured clients may be treated in the private practice, but billing directly through the health insurance card is not possible. If they have unsuccessfully searched for a therapy place in a practice with statutory insurance approval for an extended period, their health insurer may reimburse the costs under the cost reimbursement procedure pursuant to Section 13.3 SGB V. Proof of unsuccessful attempts is required.
