UNSW offers free off-site parking spaces at Royal Randwick Racecourse for staff during peak weekday periods. Two courtesy shuttle buses operate between the racecourse and campus during peak periods, from 7.30am to 10.30am and from 3pm to 6pm. The shuttle service operates Monday to Friday throughout the year and does not run on weekends, public holidays, during the UNSW Christmas break, or on Melbourne Cup Day. On approximately 8-10 mid-week race meeting days each year, staff may be required to pay a $10 daily rate depending on capacity. Staff must register in advance and access is limited to pre-registered staff.
