Master Plumbers manages recruitment, screening, aptitude testing, wages, superannuation, workers' compensation, performance management, health and safety compliance, mentoring, administration, work clothing and PPE, tool purchasing assistance, and ongoing field officer support. Hosts can return or reassign an apprentice if work circumstances change or the placement does not work out. Fixed hourly rates are provided with no hidden costs, and reduced costs are available for the first 1-2 years, especially with longer-term placements.
