Patients with health fund cover can receive most general dental treatments, including consultations, cleaning, X-rays and fillings, with no gap and no out-of-pocket charge. Eligible children covered by the Medicare CDBS scheme receive general dental treatment at no cost and are bulk billed. Children who are not covered by Medicare but have private health cover can receive general treatment with no gaps and no out-of-pocket cost.
