Chatswood Medical Practice is a private billing practice. Private fees apply from 1 July 2026, with a gap fee charged for all consultations. Fees and Medicare rebates are a guide only, and the doctor determines the Medicare item number based on the length and complexity of the consultation. Standard appointments are usually for one main issue, long appointments are usually for more than one issue, and extended appointments are for several complex issues. Saturday, Sunday and public holiday appointments attract a $20 to $40 higher fee than weekday appointments. Some doctors offer discounted rates for pensioners, children and students. A non-attendance fee of $40 applies if a patient misses a standard appointment or cancels with less than two hours notice.
