From 1 July 2026, the Medicare rebate is AUD$101.55 per session. Rebates are available with a valid GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, or a referral from a psychiatrist, for up to 10 sessions in total per calendar year, including sessions attended with another psychologist during the year.
