With an Eating Disorder Plan and an eligible referral letter for psychology sessions from a GP or Psychiatrist, you may be entitled to Medicare rebates for up to 20 to 40 sessions, dependent on individual circumstances. As of 1 July 2025, the standard Medicare rebate for a 50 minute consultation with a Clinical Psychologist is $145.25 per session. Eligibility and relevant paperwork are required, and Medicare rebates will be lodged on your behalf.
