Medicare EPC visits are bulk billed for returning patients. Appointments follow the GP-issued care plan and focus on goal-based management, progress tracking and communication back to the GP. Treatment is provided within the chronic condition plan framework, with formal progress records and required documentation. The rebate applies only to the consultation, not the full fee. New patients with an EPC plan need to pay the gap.
