The Life Skills Reentry Program is free of cost and available to individuals of nearly all backgrounds that have been previously incarcerated by the Illinois Department of Corrections. Services offered free of charge to eligible program participants include individual case management, a two-week personal and career development class, resume and application help, interview preparation, digital literacy assistance and transportation assistance. In-person classes are scheduled for two weeks, Monday through Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Participants must have a valid government issued ID or license, an IDOC inmate number and proof of Covid-19 vaccination. Initial doses must have been received at least two weeks prior to any scheduled visit. Individuals unable or unwilling to meet the in-person requirements are encouraged to ask about remote learning opportunities.
