The Max Geldner Dissertation Fund provides one-time contributions towards language editing for dissertations that were not written in the author's first language or whose authors' language skills are insufficient for a high-quality final edit. Only language editing of the publication version is subsidised. The application form must be submitted with a formal quotation from the editing service and a recommendation from the first supervisor confirming that the dissertation is ready for publication and meets any publication requirements stated in the dissertation assessments. Payment is made directly after submission of the invoice.
