A 10-week course covering chord types, chord progressions, melody, scales, modes and other aspects of harmony, with applications to jazz, blues, funk, soul and Latin music. Participants need basic music theory knowledge and ability on an instrument, preferably keyboard or guitar. The course starts in January 2007 and costs £100.
