Funded 15 and 30 hours are provided free of charge for eligible families. All 3 and 4 year olds can get 15 hours free during term time, and eligible working families can get up to 30 hours during term time for children from the term after they turn 9 months until they start school. For families of two year olds receiving government support, 15 hours of early learning may be available. Funded hours can be taken as half days, mornings, afternoons or full days, without a requirement to pay for additional hours. Where funded hours are taken over a lunch period, a voluntary contribution of £2 a day is requested, with alternative options available. Additional hours and non-funded childcare are charged in line with Islington's Charging Policy. No deposit is charged.
