Free services include preventive examinations with caries risk diagnosis in primary schools, schools with special educational needs, day care centres, secondary schools and childminding facilities; advice on caries prevention measures including oral hygiene, fluoride treatments and dietary guidance; advice on dental and jaw misalignment; individual prevention in special cases; expert assessments on behalf of public authorities; annual preventive examinations in day care centres from the first month of life; and group prevention in day care centres, childminding facilities, primary schools and schools with special educational needs. The target group is children and adolescents from the first month of life to age 16.
