Debt counselling is available free of charge and confidentially for citizens from the former Mitte district. An open consultation for initial advice is offered on Tuesdays from 09:00 to 11:00 and 15:00 to 17:00. Appointments can also be arranged during the listed office hours. Particularly urgent debt problems, such as an account garnishment or termination of housing due to rent arrears, may receive a short-term appointment by telephone arrangement.
