The office generally refuses escrow assignments except for immobilisation deposits or advance payments connected with a preliminary contract signed at or with the office, or at a real estate agency. In exceptional cases where the assignment is accepted, the fee is €600 including VAT. Funds held for more than three months without activity must be deposited with the Caisse des dépôts et consignations under legal obligations.
