When a fault requires more in-depth investigation, disassembly, or hardware or software analysis, a €49 diagnostic package may be charged for preparing a detailed quote. Examples include unexpected crashes, a black screen without prior history, a very slow Mac, a Mac that will not start, or suspected software failure. The amount is deducted from the repair price if the repair is accepted.
