A six-month group program for highly contentious separated parents and their children, with accompanying parent consultations. The program includes a network meeting attended by parents without their children and their trusted supportive network, nine concurrent group sessions for parents and children in separate groups, and five to seven accompanying parent consultations addressing individual issues. The service is a form of child welfare support, with costs covered by the youth welfare office. Participation requires that no court proceedings are currently pending, or that all legal proceedings have been concluded or suspended. The program is open to families from Berlin and the surrounding area, and is intended for children aged 5 and over. Courses start continuously in January and August.
