From 1 July 2025, parents and guardians must sign a Child Dental Benefits Schedule Bulk Billing Consent Form each time a child aged 0 to 17 visits a public dental clinic in NSW. The form allows the clinic to bulk bill Medicare for the child's treatment. There is no payment required, even if the child cannot get the benefit or has used it up. The form must be signed before treatment, and staff can assist with questions on arrival.
