Both doulas participate in prenatal meetings, one attends the birth, and there is a postpartum follow-up a couple of days after returning home from the hospital. The fee is $3,088. Alternatively, the doula who was not at the birth can provide support during the first or second night at home, helping with newborn care, feeding, changing, soothing, and sleeping.
