Healthy participants are needed for the study of an experimental new treatment for primary biliary cholangitis. Participants must be aged 18 to 65 with a BMI between 18 and 30 kg/m2. Smokers and vapers are allowed but cannot smoke or vape while in the ward. The study involves 3 nights’ residence on the wards and 5 outpatient visits if on placebo, plus 1 additional follow-up if receiving the study drug. Admissions are on 5 and 6 October 2026. Study payment: £3,000 to £4,000.
