LPA is seeking a smart, enthusiastic, friendly team player with working knowledge of the Australian Workplace Relations environment. The role involves advising members of the Live Performance Industry, interpreting and providing advice on relevant state and federal employment and industrial relations legislation, modern awards and contracts, developing and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders including LPA members, government and the LPA board, and working cooperatively in a small team with tight deadlines. Applicants should have 2 to 5 years' experience in a similar role, with tertiary qualifications in law, workplace relations or human resources. Previous experience providing workplace relations advice is highly regarded. This is a permanent full-time position with salary commensurate with skills and experience, opportunities for growth and development, additional leave between Christmas and New Year, access to entertainment and cultural events, and working from home two days per week.
