Join the molecular genetics team at an owner-managed human genetics practice in central Berlin. The role focuses on evaluating NGS sequencing data from panels and exomes using innovative software tools, assessing sequence variants, and preparing findings for patients with rare genetic diseases in prenatal and postnatal contexts. You may also contribute to improving existing molecular genetic methods, establishing new diagnostic approaches, and acquiring cytogenetics knowledge. A completed natural sciences degree at diploma or master's level or an equivalent qualification is required. Knowledge of molecular genetic methods such as NGS, Sanger, MLPA, or arrays is advantageous. Experience in human genetic diagnostics is beneficial, while applicants starting their careers with an interest in human genetics are also welcome. Good German or English language skills, a high sense of responsibility, and teamwork are required.
