Help host the 2021 Whale Watching season onboard the whale watching vessel. Duties include assisting the skipper with preparing, cleaning and securing the boat, keeping facilities clean and presentable, greeting guests, managing daily manifests, assisting with coffee and tea facilities, talking with guests during tours, sharing facts about the sea, birds and whales, ensuring guest comfort, taking photos and posting to social media, and following safety procedures. The role suits someone cheerful, dependable, comfortable chatting with guests, enthusiastic about nature and whale watching, and not phased by weather conditions. No formal experience or licences are required, training is provided, and knowledge of the sea and its creatures is beneficial. The position was approximately 24 to 25 hours per week, with a standard schedule of Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts.
