Oversee the Museum's front-of-house, retail, and visitor-facing operations in San Francisco. Responsibilities include managing admissions and store activity, supervising Visitor Experience staff and on-call staff, creating schedules, supporting training and professional development, maintaining merchandising and inventory standards, managing cash handling and department-level budgeting, preparing operational and financial reports, enforcing security and safety protocols, and ensuring a welcoming, organized, and high-quality visitor experience. The role requires four or more years of professional experience in retail, bookstore operations, or hospitality, direct responsibility for customer-facing operations, experience supervising a team of five or more, retail and point-of-sale experience, budget management experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to the Museum's mission and diverse communities.
